Dr. Jonathon Corbacio PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy / Owner
Jonathon graduated from Misericordia University with his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2011 and began treating patients in Monmouth County that same year. He went on to finish his Doctor of Physical Therapy while working full time in 2014. Jonathon’s doctoral paper focused on factors and prevention of non-contact ACL injuries in female athletes. Most of his continuing education and certifications have focused on Sports Medicine rehabilitation including BFR, FMS-1, STMT-1, SMFA-1, SMFA-2 and speed/quickness/agility training. Over the past decade Jonathon has used his knowledge, experience, and skills to assist and return hundreds of Division 1 athletes, including the NFL, MLB, NWSL, MLS and Olympians to their respective sports and active lifestyles. In his free time, Jonathon enjoys spending time with his wife and son, watching football, snowboarding, jet skiing, drumming, and producing music.
Prime Physical Therapy & Sports Care opened in March of 2019 and has been a dream of mine since the day I wanted to become a Physical Therapist. Playing football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and running track helped me become a well-rounded athlete. Using my background in these sports and applying it with my knowledge of Physical Therapy can be extremely beneficial to my patients. Having a thorough understanding of the anatomy and the muscles involved in each sport is of the utmost importance in developing a sport specific plan for each individual athlete I treat. I saw a huge gap between the quality of sports physical therapy among other practices in Monmouth County and want to help bridge that gap with one-on-one treatment with a Doctor of Physical Therapy every visit.
